In a spectacular fashion, Kobe Bryant ended his career with 60 points in a comeback victory against the Utah Jazz last night.
For the last couple of minutes, nobody gave a shit whether or not the Lakers won, but whether Kobe was going to hit 50 points. He did, and then kept going and going. He scored another 10 points in the last 2 minutes to finish the night with 60.
Doesn’t matter if you love the Mamba or hate him, watching that performance was absolutely unreal.
The fact that Kobe and the 17 win Lakers took away the entire night from the Warriors who won an NBA history 73rd game speaks immensely for the kind of player he was for our generation.
From a Celtics fan, cheers to you Kobe.
