The story that keeps on giving. Pat Summitt’s son impregnating one of his players and having to resign from coaching the prestigious Louisiana Tech Women’s Basketball Team. Amazing. The more details, the better.
First off, he’s 25 years old. He was hired at age 23 to coach a D1 Women’s program because his mom won a couple national titles. Makes total sense. I see one of Geno Auriemma’s kids as a suitable replacement.
Common sense says a 25-year-old around college girls at all hours of the day will lead to a pregnancy. Guess what? It did. Tyler Summitt scores more than his team does.
Such a power move. Legend. If a coach is going to do this, then he or she better go all the way with it. Forget winning. Just recruit the hottest chicks……
“Yo, Tyler, let’s recruit Shaniqua Jackson. She’s filthy.”
“Ahhhhh, you know what? Let’s get Emily Walker.”
“Good–ERRRRR—She’s more my type. Of player.”
More news came today as one of the LA Tech players posted a picture of herself with the caption “#NotPrego.” Such a great response to the rumors. So mature. This is why social media is amazing. Just love it. Free entertainment at all hours of the day.
This is the best story of 2016. What a story, Mark.
